Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the folafol.app website and the Folafol mobile apps. By using the service you agree to them. Please read the parts about result accuracy and textbooks — they matter most.

Acceptance

By accessing folafol.app or using a Folafol app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Folafol is

Folafol is an independent tool that helps students check published examination results, view official marksheets, and download NCTB textbooks. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Government of Bangladesh, the education boards, or the National Curriculum and Textbook Board.

Results are retrieved, not issued

When you check a result, Folafol fetches it from the official education board system and shows it to you. We do not generate, grade, or certify results. The authoritative record is the one held by your education board; if anything differs, the board’s record and your original marksheet prevail. We make no guarantee that the service will be available at any particular moment, especially in the first hours after a result is published, when the boards’ own systems are under heavy load.

Textbooks

The NCTB textbooks offered for download are published by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board and are provided here for students’ convenience and educational use. Copyright in the textbooks belongs to the NCTB. We do not claim ownership of them and provide them as a free study aid.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only to check results and access study materials for lawful, personal and educational purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, misuse it to harvest other people’s results, or use it in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others. In the app forum, you must not post unlawful, harassing, or harmful content; we may remove content and restrict accounts that do.

Intellectual property

The Folafol name, website design, app, and original text are ours. Textbook content belongs to the NCTB and result data belongs to the education boards. You may use the service as intended but may not copy or redistribute our software or branding without permission.

Third-party links and services

The service links to and relies on third parties — the education boards, Google, and others. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of services we do not operate.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that results shown will always be accurate, complete, current, or available, or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Folafol is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including any decision made on the basis of a result shown here rather than the official marksheet. Always confirm an important result against your board’s official record.

Changes

We may change the service or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
